Fire Engine Toy Box – Imaginary Fun for Boys
So I saw the cutest boy’s fire engine toy box today, and I just had to share…
I admit, I have a weakness for fire engines for my sons. My oldest son’s third birthday party had a fire truck theme, which was a lot of fun. I think this particular chest would be a ton of fun for a young boy. I can just imagine him sitting inside, pretending to drive the truck…
However, I should note that the wheels on the outside don’t work. There are smaller wheels behind them, kind of more like casters. It can roll pretty well on harder floors, but could be difficult to roll on carpets. This makes it handy for cleaning underneath of it – small toys do have a tendency to migrate! A warning on it says that it has small parts, which may come off and be unsafe for children under 3. So if you get this for a young child, make sure it is very sturdily assembled.
One problem with this toy chest is that the paint tends to scratch easily. If you have small boys, this is more than likely to happen.
