Toy Chests

Guidecraft does make adorable toy chests.  I recently talked about the fire engine toy box, but this particular model is good for girls and boys.  The design is perfect if you want something that works for both genders, or if you don’t know whether you are having a boy or girl.

The Safari Toy Chest is handcarved and hand painted.  It has cute giraffes, lions, and zebras on it.  One nice feature is the wheels at the bottom.  This makes it easy to move in order to vacuum under.  The wheels lock into place to prevent a child from hurting himself.  This chest also is part of a larger theme, so it’s easy to find matching pieces for your child’s bedroom.

Overall, this toy box had good reviews.  Most people were impressed with its sturdiness and design.  The size was also good.  The main problem people had was with occasional damage to the box during shipping.  However, Guidecraft has very good customer service and did an excellent job replacing any damaged parts.  One reviewer even said they replaced the lid after her children had damaged it!
